Barking Mad's proprietor is Eedra Zey. She is passionate about human rights, justice, fairness and a safe, pluralistic society. She has dedicated her working life contributing to the welfare of others be it the environment or those without the privilege, education or health required to ensure their own fair and just treatment. (With a few years of fixing computers in there too). |
| |
| Eedra has an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, a post-graduate qualification in Social Ecology and an Electronics Engineering degree.
She has professional training and expertise in negotiation, conflict-resolution, psychology, sociology and the law. Eedra has worked in politics, in multi-national corporations (often as their first ever Environmental Manager) and local businesses.
She spent twelve years of her youth in a customer service retail family business and another twelve years doing high-level computer maintenance in the defence, health, education, media and building industries. An expert at change facilitation, she combines her passion and idealism with well-healed business acumen. Eedra now literally works for the under-dogs.
Barking Mad works nationally - in every State and Territory. We are based on the Central Coast of NSW, just north of Sydney and hope to one of the too few legal dog beaches. Eedra's dog is Pema

| (Dec 08) History of Barking Mad and Eedra's Bio to be published... |
About Eedra's environmental background. "Working with your values is not about the 'thing' (environment or pets). Rather, it is about change; people accepting their individual accountability and taking responsibility to harvest the opportunities they may have because of their job or role in society. It's also about walking the talk, without the need for perfection, and believing that what you do matters beyond your own home and community.
The role of Barking Mad (and previously Earth Vision, Eedra's environmental consultancy) is to empower people with skills to complete projects that nurture their heart, align with their values and make positive steps towards a safe and pet-friendly community As we are now working for the under-dogs and their loving owners, we want to raise the profile of the domestic pet as a contributor to well-being, independence and building communities.
By working this way, we aim to accommodate, in some way, all members of a community and their heirs and successors.
